Baroque Works is set to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a adored, popular member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that the talented performer has joined the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bentham. The role possesses the power to morph into an exact copy of anyone they’ve touched with their right hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that figure re-envisioned as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action show, as in the source material and animated series.

The new cast member is joined by multiple new cast members who will portray the group to the screen, such as leader Sir Crocodile, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who will appear as the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.

Though this character is a important part of the organization, the character will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the timing of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest more adjustments to the narrative framework.
