Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a barrier and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the Australian man bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the performers made its way down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed features clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Safety

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another message on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while others called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it began.

The film, to be premiered on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising bond between two very different characters.

The show itself is a derivative of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and earned ten Oscar nominations, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
